The community of York, Maine, rallies around their famed Nubble Lighthouse. In this season 7 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 701), Richard visits the coastal town to explore all it has to offer. He starts at Norma’s Restaurant, owned by Norma Clark. After a hearty meal, he heads to the Nubble to receive a private tour from lighthouse keeper Matt Rosenberg before crossing “the gut” to take pictures of the tower. To top it off, Richard meets Celtic fiddler Máiréad Nesbitt, who likens Maine’s rugged coast to that of Western Ireland.
