In polo, teams consist of both men and women, but every player agrees that the ponies are the MVPs. In this season 4 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 412), Richard is in Hamilton, Massachusetts, to watch a polo match at Myopia Polo Club, one of the oldest clubs in America. Traditionally a sport for men, modern polo is far more accessible and includes women at all levels. In this segment, we talk to Peter Poor, a committee member, and learn more about the origins of the sport. Meanwhile, Richard watches Harvard compete against China for a riveting game and gets to know some of the Harvard players.
