Rhode Island may be small, but its residents are big time proud of their signature delicacies. In this season 4 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 410), Amy is led on a guided food tour of Providence by Jamie Coelho. Their first stop is at DePetrillo’s to try their pizza slice, a must have item for any Rhode Island party or tailgate. Then, it’s onto Newport Creamery to try their awful awful drink, which is quite good, contrary to its name. Their last stop is Diggers Catch to try their stuffed quahog, the biggest variety of clam you can find in Rhode Island that carries the taste of the Narragansett Bay.
