This former Boston chef is bringing an innovative edge to the food scene in the White Mountains region. In this season 4 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 409), Amy is in Jackson, New Hampshire, to meet the couple behind Thompson House Eatery, Kate and Jeff Fournier. The idea of farm-to-table dining was so attractive they left the bustling city behind to open their dream restaurant. Amy starts by exploring the farm and harvesting vegetables for dinner. Then, she gets to try Jeff’s imaginative braised watermelon and umami brussels sprouts, pulled straight from the garden.
