Receive a dose of nostalgia in this season 4 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 402). We are in Orange, Connecticut to visit the PEZ candy factory. The name PEZ is derived from the German word for peppermint since it was originally meant to be a breath freshener. Eventually, PEZ took on its fruity flavor and became a product for children, transforming into the beloved candy we know and recognize. In this segment, Richard learns all about the history of the iconic candy and tours the PEZ factory which has been operating since 1957.
