The nation’s longest-maintained ice skating track can be found on Lake Morey in Vermont. In this season 3 segment of “Weekends with Yankee” (episode 313), Richard is in Fairlee to visit the lake and take a spin on its 4-mile-long track. The lake is a hub for all kinds of skating, and in this segment, Richard tries his hand at Nordic skating. He joins up with Lake Morey Resort activities director Lisa Avery who tells us all we need to know about Nordic skating before they take to the ice themselves.
