In this season 3 segment of “Weekends with Yankee” (episode 310), Richard goes to Nantucket off the coast of Massachusetts to step on board the Tall Ship Lynx. The ship once sailed for American freedom during the War of 1812 by evading the British naval fleet. Now, it provides the opportunity to experience a piece of America’s maritime history. In this segment, we learn more about the history of the Lynx and watch as Richard gets the chance to help out the crew. A trip on the Lynx is truly an all-hands-on-deck learning experience.
