You might think that luxury footwear and farm life don’t mix, but think again, because the executives of Manolo Blahnik are operating the only farm in which wearing high heels to work is acceptable. In this season 3 segment of “Weekends with Yankee” (episode 305), Amy had the pleasure of visiting Arethusa Farm in Litchfield, Connecticut, to meet George Malkemus and Anthony Yurgaitis, alongside their “ladies” (ladies as in dairy cows). When they aren’t pampering their cows, they are catching flights to Paris Fashion Week for their luxury shoe line. Amy spends the afternoon with the pair touring the farm and trying their dairy products. Rest assured, this farm is proof that you can, in fact, have it all.
