Our love for New England is set in stone after this season 3 segment of “Weekends with Yankee” (episode 304). We’re in Cornish, New Hampshire, at the Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site, the former home of leading 19th-century American sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens and New Hampshire’s only national historic park. The park contains a multitude of famous sculptures that capture the Civil War and Gilded Age eras. While the sculptures are impressive, Gaudens’ house is equally so. Gaze upon many famous works and learn more about the legacy of Augustus Saint-Gauden.
