In the wilds of Northern Maine, there are more moose than people, but catching a glimpse of these big creatures can still be tough. In this season one segment of “Weekends with Yankee” (episode 102), we team up with experienced pilot John Willard at Moosehead Lake for the ultimate moose-spotting mission, from a scenic boat cruise to a thrilling plane ride. Despite slim sightings, the incredible journey leaves a lasting appreciation for the beauty of the wilderness and the magical Maine moose.
