I can smell and feel a New England autumn in this photo. The textures and shadows bring the photo off the page to life. I can feel the cool stones and the warmth of the afternoon sun, while the leaves crunch underfoot with that great sound, that only arrives in the fall, releasing the fragrance of the leaves on the ground.
