Monterey Spaghetti

Yield: 6 to 8 servings


  • 4 oz spaghetti, broken into pieces
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups shredded jack cheese
  • 1 pkg (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 can French fried onions, divided


Cook spaghetti according to package diretions. Meanwhile, in medium bowl, beat egg. Add sour cream, parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Drain spaghetti; add to egg mixture with jack cheese, spinach and half of the onions. Pour into a greased 2 quart dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or til heated through. Top with remaining onions. Return to the oven for 5 minutes or til onions are golden brown.
