—Seth MacFarlane (born October 26, 1973, in Kent, Connecticut). As the creator of Family Guy, this Rhode Island School of Design alum may be best known for slapstick and satire. But he’s also into science, helping to briefly revive the classic Carl Sagan show Cosmos in 2014 and putting his own spin on Star Trek with The Orville, which begins its third season on Fox later this year.
