German Pancake

Also called a German pancake, the Dutch Baby is a sweetened, egg-leavened breakfast dish that can satisfy a crowd.

Ingredients

3 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sifted flour
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

Lightly beat eggs with a wire whisk. Add salt to flour. Add flour mixture and milk to eggs in 3 or 4 portions alternately, beating well after each addition. Add melted butter and beat well. Pour into 2 well-buttered pie pans. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until puffed and light brown. Serve immediately, with lemon wedges, melted butter, and confectioners sugar.
