Blonde Brownies

Delicious brownies that are not made with chocolate. I could never keep them in the house with my father around!

Makes 20 to 48
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 cups packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Combine flour, baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Melt butter; remove from heat. Stir in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; stir until combined. Add dry ingredients into sugar mixture. Spread in pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Cut into bars while warm.




The best brownies I have ever had. My daughter made them for a class project and she did not come home with leftovers. They even asked her to make some more later.
I have made this recipe three times in the last couple of months, and they are SOOOO good! Everyone just loves them, and the best part is that they’re so easy!
