After School Cookies

1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
2 cups quick oats
2 cups crisp rice cereal
1 cup candy-coated chocolate candies
1 cup butterscotch chips (or peanut butter chips)


Cream together butter, sugars and eggs. In a separate bowl combine all dry ingredients. Slowly add this to the creamed mixture.

Stir in candy-coated chocolate candies and butterscotch chips. Form dough into small balls and press on the with a fork. Bake in 350 degree oven for 8-12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet before completely cooled.
