This was the last sailboat in the last race in the Wednesday night series of races in Wickford, RI from the race committee boat on a beautiful evening in September.

Taking a ride to explore landscapes to paint someday, I turned onto a road I have never been on and this scene captured me.

Arkright factory in West Warwick, RI, has an old freight bridge behind it which is no longer used but still traverses the Pawtuxet River. I took this last autumn just as the last colors of the season were about to fade.
