Housatonic Rail – Pequonnock River Trail
Location: Trumbull (Tait Rd) to Trumbull (Whitney Ave)
Trail Length: 3 miles
The Trumbull Old Mine Park Rail Trail was once a part of the Housatonic Railroad. The trail is relatively flat with much of it situated on a ledge overlooking the Pequonnock River; the trail connects to the heavily wooded Old Mine Park.
Parking & Trail Access:
From CT 25, take Exit 9 onto Daniels Farm Rd. At the light in Trumbull, turn right onto Tait Road.
Activities: Walking, Cross Country Skiing, Mountain Biking
