One of the perks of working at Yankee is the chance so many of us, who’ve called New England home for most of our lives, have to get out and explore the region. Maybe even see it in a different light. A restaurant, an inn, a beach—places that remind us of why we call this part of the country home, invite excitement and a desire to share. ‘You’ve got to see this,’ becomes a frequently repeated phrase around the office.
It could also serve as the theme for this month’s travel package. In it you’ll find our lineup for the best authentic guided New England day trips. These are places and experiences you’re not going to want to miss. Where to begin? How about climbing aboard a sailboat in Newport, or hiking a 4,000-footer in New Hampshire, or hitching a ride for a drive over the dunes on Provincetown’s Cape Cod National Seashore. Or you could take it slow and discover Providence’s “Little Italy” section. Consider it not just an early guide to summer, but your invitation to explore and tell others about the places they must see for themselves.
