As the largest lake in New Hampshire and the third-largest in New England, Lake Winnipesaukee is a beloved and iconic body of water. Located, appropriately enough, in the Lake Region, Winnipesaukee has about 288 miles of shoreline and spans eight towns. It has long been a destination for visitors due to its size, clear waters, mountain backdrop, beautiful islands, and wealth of outdoor activities. Although its public beaches are a popular spot for tourists, there also are plenty of waterfront areas that provide a sense of serenity and privacy. Whether you’re looking for access to bustling beaches, a quiet escape, or a mountainside adventure, you’ll find a lot of options in the Lake Winnipesaukee area. And for those desiring a quintessential lakeside cabin experience, there are a number of Lake Winnipesaukee cabin rentals in a range of prices. Check out some of our favorite options below!

  2. Spent summers in Laconia/Guilford at Lakeshore Park and now, as a grown up! would love to stay a day or two in a small cottage or cabin just to put my feet in the lake, veg, read, eat and enjoy the area as I fondly remember it. Maybe I’ll get my 18 yr old grandaughter to come up with me .. she’ll love the Weirs… ah well,
need to check the finances and then hopefully will make it up for at least a day. Thanks for this great articicle… Bonnie… Berlin, MA
