She was bitten by the shutter bug courtesy of her father, who loved to travel and would always carry his camera with him. When she moved to New England in 2006, she began pursuing her passion more seriously with some guidance from one of her dear friends. She prefers to shoot pictures in the “Golden Light” hours of dusk and dawn.
Much of her time is spent traveling around New England capturing all the major flower festivals as well as autumn in all its glory, and is a member of Yankee Magazine’s Facebook Foliage page. Her work has been published on travelandleisure.com; won the “Photo of the Week” award from naturesbestphotography.com; and been a finalist in the Yankee magazine2010 Fall Photo Contest.
