Doaks Lane

A sunset taken from Doaks Lane in Marblehead. One of the goals in my project to photograph my adopted home town has been to showcase areas that may be missed by long time residents. I found this grouping of houses in Little Harbor to be one such spot and used a long exposure to calm the water and reflect the beautiful light.

This is one of 500 images posted to my Wednesdays in Marblehead site where I have been sharing my landscape photography taken in my adopted home town. I moved to Marblehead in 2008 and have been posting images to the site since 2010.
