While working as a resort photographer in the Carolinas and West Virginia, he was approached about taking aerial photos of golf courses that could be packaged into “virtual” golf courses online. Dave eventually bought that company, expanded it, then sold it to move back to Maine.
After a brief hiatus from photography, Dave joined the digital age, updated all of his equipment, and began again as a full-time photographer. While Dave specializes in aerial photography in Maine, and all over New England, he also shoots scenics and nature from around the state of Maine, and enjoys, what he calls, “experimental low light photography.” Dave also photographs youth sports in his area and teaches adult education courses at the local high school. He lives in Wiscasset, Maine, with his wife Colleen and son Cody.
