In the evening you can kick back at the wine reception and discuss your day’s adventures with fellow guests. Set right on the water, the Red Inn has been welcoming visitors (including celebrities and presidents) to Provincetown since 1915. Choose from three guest rooms, three spacious suites, and two private residences. All include waterfront decks and a view, free Wi-Fi, and in-room dining. The inn is also listed in NewEngland.com’s “10 Best Seaside Inns in New England,” which notes its “not-to-miss sunsets from those bleached white Adirondack chairs dotting the deck.”
Tucked into a hillside in Provincetown’s West End, Seaglass offers spacious rooms and a heated saltwater pool, among many other amenities. Watch the sun set over the water from one of the hotel’s west-facing balconies or from the hilltop and expansive lawns.

Provincetown can be raucous, but the soothingly simple rooms of the Sage Inn sit so far off Commercial Street that they seem to be in another ZIP code. The ground-level lounge with restaurant and bar might be the most serene spot in town in which to spend an afternoon or a rainy day.
