In 2011, photographers Jonathan Kozowyk and Henry Hung were on hand to capture the recreation of events that sparked a revolution for the 2012 Yankee print feature, “Two Mornings in April.” Here’s a closer look at the Lexington and Concord battles re-creation in photos.
2021 Update. This year the event will be celebrated virtually by the April 19th History Coalition. Learn More

I am trying to contact the Patriots’ Day re-enactor who plays the part of Prince Estabrook (first black to serve in the Militia) in the first battle on the Lexington Green on April 19th.’re-enactor. Please use my email so he can contact me or I will contact him if anyone can provide his contact information. Thank you.
What history do you have re the Battle if Bunker Hill with Colonel Thomas Knowlton and his son. My grandmother was a Knowlton so am interested in that history.
I don’t believe either of the flags in the last photo are British.
Hey, you guys get this question a lot where can I sign up for the reenacting concord&lexington battle for 2022. I’m 20 years old and I’ve wanted to do it since I first moved to Concord.
