Helleoborus (sp?)

These beauties bloom with their faces downward so that unless you actualaly pick it upward, you can’t see how gorgeous thety are. I did just that in nordere to take these photos for you. Well worth getting down to ground leve, believe me. These are late winter blooming btw; the foliage is beautiful and the blooms imo just spectacular; unlike anything else during the is season in nNew England> I need to get moreo; they are expensive, however. These grow in partial shade, and plenty of sun near my grapevines.
