A Canadian recipe for pork pie.
1 pound ground pork
1 onion, chopped
3 medium potatoes, boiled and cut up fine
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
salt and pepper to taste
left-over gravy
pie crust
Fry the onions in a little butter, add the meat, and stir until done. Add the seasonings, then the potatoes and the gravy. Bake between two crusts in a hot (425 degrees F) oven until brown. Good warmed over, too.
