A wholesome snack that keeps well when stored in a container with a tight-fitting lid.
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. As best you can, remove fibers from pmpkin seeds, but do not wash them. Combine butter, oil, and soy sauce in bowl, add seeds and turn until all are well coated. Spread seeds on baking sheet, sprinkle with salt, and toast for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown. Cool thoroughly before storing.
