Make sandwiches in desired shapes and use any of the following spreads as fillings. Chill spreads several hours before making the sandwiches,
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco
Mix well and chill. Makes 1-1/2 cups.
3 cans (4-1/2 ounces each) crab meat
1/4 cup finelv chopped celery
2 tablespoons minced onion
1/2 cup mayonnaise
Mix well and chill. Makes 3 cups.
1/4 pound Roquefort cheese
1/2 pound cream cheese
1/2 cup finely chopped green olives
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 stalks celery, finely chopped
1 green pepper, finely chopped
1/4 cup butter
Mix well and chill; if desired, cheese and vegetables can be forced through a food chopper, rather than individually chopped. Makes 4 cups.
