1-1/2 pounds chopped beef
3 ounces Roquefort cheese

Bermuda onion

Shape the meat into 8 patties. Place crumbled cheese on 4 of these, top each with a plain patty, and press the edges together securely. Lightly sprinkle a skillet with salt; heat and brown the patties on both sides. Serve hot on roasted, buttered buns. A thin slice of Bermuda onion and a sprinkling of crisp bacon may be added.
