Found this in a Mexican Cook Book
1/2 cup picante sauce
1/3 cup water
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 lb round steak, cut into strips
1 red or green bell pepper
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
6 green onions, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
Combine picante sauce, water, soy sauce, cornstarch and ginger in small bowl; set aside.
In large skillet high heat, heat 2 tablespoons oil til hot add meat and stir fry 1 or 2 minutes. Remove with slotted spoon, set aside.
Drain skillet, if needed add remaining oil in skillet. Add pepper, mushrooms, onion and garlic to skillet; stir fry 3 minutes. Return meat to skillet. Stir picante sauce mixture and pour into skillet cook and stir 1 minute til sauce thickens. Serve over hot cooked white rice.
