1 1/2 cups Vegetable Juice (V8)
2 tbsp lemon juice
4 tsp honey
1/2 tsp grated orange peel
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp pepper
2 1/2 – 3 pound broiler-fryer chicken, cut-up
Marinade: In a large bowl or pan, stir together V8, lemon, honey and orange peel, garlic and pepper.
Add chicken – turn to coat. Place covered in ‘frig for two or more hours.
Remove chicken from marinade and arrange on rack on broiler pan. Broil 6″ from heat for about 35 mintues (fork tender). During broiling – baste every 10/15 minutes.
