This recipe came from my grandmother-in-law. I don’t know where she found it. Everyone likes them.
3 eggs
1/2 cup(1 stick) margarine
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp corn syrup
2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cup peanut butter
41/2 cup oatmeal
2/3 cup chocalate chips
1/4 cup m+ms
Beat eggs, cream with margarine and sugar.Add remaining ingredients. (Easier to add oatmeal a little at a time and add m+ms last so they don’t get crunched up)Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet with ice cream scoop for giant cookies. Bake at 350F for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cookies are done before they actually look done. Check the edges for browning. They turn hard fast and are much better soft.
