Kinsman Lodge Scones

12 scones

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 to 3/4 cup dried fruit (currants, dried cranberries with orange zest or chocolate chips
1-1/4 cups heavy cream

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Mix all ingredients together gently, but thoroughly. Roll or pat out into a circle about 3/4 inch thick. Cut into triangles and place on cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
