Easy Italian Tuna & Pasta

This recipe is perfect for people who like good, quick meals, and who don’t like to cook. It’s an old recipe, converted by using pantry items. Add a tossed salad and some crusty Italian bread, and your family will think you prepared them a fancy meal.

Yield

4 servings

Ingredients

2 8-ounce cans drained tuna
1 large onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
2-1/2 tablespoons olive oil
2-1/2 cups chopped canned tomatoes
1/3 cup white wine
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
salt & pepper to taste
1 pound cooked thin pasta

Instructions

Cook the onion and garlic in olive oil until the onions are translucent. Add tomatoes, tuna, and wine. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Add the grated cheese. Simmer for another 5 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve over cooked pasta.
