5 cups rolled oats
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup condensed milk
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Mix all ingredients in a food processor or with an electric mixer until well blended. Spread into a well-greased pan (a 13×9-inch baking pan or 2 pie pans). Bake about 25 minutes, until dough begins to shrink from edge of pan. Remove from pan and cut into squares or wedges, then place onto a greased cookie sheet. Reduce heat to 275 degrees and bake another 10 to 15 minutes, until golden.
