Chocolate Corn Flake Pudding

Yield:

Serves 4

Ingredients

2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons butter
4 teaspoons cocoa
3 cups corn flakes
1 egg well beaten

Instructions

Scald the milk. Remove from heat and add the sugar, butter, and cocoa. When the mixture has cooled, add the cold cereal and the egg. Stir together, pour into a buttered baking dish and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F. Serve with hard sauce, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream or heavy cream.
