Easy Holiday Cheese Ball

“We serve this at our special Holidays Evening, just before Christmas. The ball tastes better made a day ahead.” –Weld Inn, Weld, Maine


Makes 1 large ball or 2 small ones


2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon finely minced pimiento
1 tablespoon grated onion
1 tablespoon minced green pepper
Grated walnuts


Combine all but last ingredient and put into freezer for 20 minutes. Remove, shape into a ball, and roll in grated walnuts. Wrap in plastic wrap and put in refrigerator until ready to use.
