Slow Cooker Cajun Red Beans & Sausage

1 lb. dried red beans
7 cups water
1 bell pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
3 celery stalks, diced
1 t. garlic powder
salt to taste
1 lb smoked sausage
3 T. creole seasoning


Place ingredients in slow cooker. Cook covered on high for 7 hours or until beans are tender. Serve with hot cooked rice.
