hamburger is in the oven. Just spread the meat out on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Stir and then bake another ten minutes or so until brown. It takes so much less watching than on the stove.
I also brown my meatballs this way. After the meat cools, you can put it in a large mixer to break it up, or just put it in the resealable bags that you want to freeze it in and squeeze it with your hands to break it up. You can add onion and seasonings to it just like you would if you were frying it.
