Between cakey and fudgy, and not too sweet, that’s what makes these chocolate brownies so hard to beat!

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon corn syrup
2/3 cup cocoa
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Combine first 6 ingredients. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder, and add to batter, mixing well. Pour into a 13×9-inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes. Allow to cool in pan before cutting into bars.
