If you have the patience to hollow out cucumbers (use a sharp knife or apple-corer), this will add considerable interest to any tray of canap
2 firm, medium-size cucumbers
1 3-ounce package cream cheese
1 teaspoon dry beef base
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4 drops Tabasco sauce
Combine the cheese, beef base, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce and blend well. Stuff into the centers of peeled, hollowed-out cucumbers. Chili for 2 hours.
Slice into rounds and serve on crisp crackers.
