Coming Soon! “Weekends with Yankee” Season 8

In April 2024, Weekends with Yankee, the lifestyle television series about New England from public media powerhouse GBH and Yankee magazine—the beloved publication of New England—returns for its eighth season!

We again take viewers on an exploration of the cities, small towns, and far-flung places throughout the region, all while celebrating its culture, history, and beauty. This season especially highlights the area’s strong entrepreneurial spirit, as it introduces viewers to New England artisans, chefs, farmers, innovators, and craftspeople who are passionate about what they do.

New segments include:
• the ultimate biking tour on the Cross New Hampshire Adventure Trail
• a pioneering sea scallop farm in Stonington, Maine, one of Maine’s most picturesque fishing harbors
• a New England rodeo at the Pond Hill Ranch in Vermont
• Cape Cod’s iconic sand dunes to pick wild beach plums
• a women-owned oyster farm on Maine’s Georgetown Island
• the rapids of New England’s only whitewater park in Franklin, New Hampshire
• the gardens in bloom at White Flower Farm in Litchfield, Connecticut
• the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island
