Meet the Women Behind Nantucket Looms on Nantucket Island

The women of Nantucket are doing big things. In this season 7 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 706), we are off the coast of Massachusetts to meet Bess Clarke and Rebecca Peraner, co-owners of Nantucket Looms, producing high-quality, hand-made textiles. In this segment, we talk to Bess to learn about the history of the company and watch Rebecca weave beautiful, artisanal textiles on the loom. Women have manned this company for many years prior, a feat Bess is proud of, and they won’t be leaving anytime soon.
