The history of American cuisine culminates centuries later in Biddeford, Maine. In this season 7 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 706), Amy is in this bustling mill town to learn about its recent culinary boom. She starts at the Lincoln Hotel where she meets owner Rebecca Johns and learns about the hotel’s recent inception. Then, she heads for a pick me up at Tide & Time Coffee, where owners Jon Phillips and Brianna Campbell roast their beans in the local mills. Then, she stops at Fish & Whistle to meet owners Kate Hamm and Jason Eckerson and tries their flagship dish, Fish and Chips, before joining Jason in the kitchen to make their popular fish chowder.
