We’re appreciating the little things in this season 6 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 607). Richard is in York, Maine, to meet Sara Fitzgerald O’Brien, the artist behind the widely adored Sara Fitz iconography company. Sara Fitz’s inception happened by accident; Sara made her own stationery for her wedding, and by the time she said “I do,” she already had a list of clients. Her designs are simplistic, watercolors of quintessential New England elements. In this segment, Richard tours Sara’s shop before taking a stroll down one of her favorite beaches where she gains inspiration for her work.
