Meet the woman inspiring change in the oldest collegiate acapella group in the nation. In this season 4 segment of Weekends with Yankee(episode 402), we are in New Haven, Connecticut, to meet Neha Bhatt, the first woman of color to join the traditionally all-male Yale Whiffenpoofs. The Whiffenpoofs are an iconic, senior acapella group and have performed worldwide for a host of notable people. Previously all male, the group has recently started accepting women, such as Neha Bhatt. In this segment, we talk to Neha to learn more about the Whiffenpoofs and her hopes for the group’s future. Leading by example, she hopes to pass the torch to other women because after all, boys can’t have all the fun!
