Curving against US Route 4 is Vermont’s Little Grand Canyon, the Quechee Gorge. In this season 3 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 308), we are in Quechee, Vermont, to discover the stunning gorge. Formed during the Ice Age, the gorge is now a prime destination for sightseeing and play. While some come to take in the sights, others come to catapult themselves off high rocky cliffs into the deep, cool river below. For those not interested in getting wet, there are plenty of memorable vistas perfect for admiring the scenery.
