Prepare to be dealt a wave of nostalgia through a good old-fashioned scavenger hunt. In this season one segment from “Weekends with Yankee” (episode 105), we’re on Rhode Island’s Block Island to learn about the Glass Float Project from artists Eben Horton and Jennifer Nauck. As part of an interactive art initiative, the couple has hidden hundreds of hand-blown glass orbs across the island for adventurous seekers to find. Back inland, Richard sees how the orbs are created in their Wakefield, Rhode Island, studio and learns more about how the project helps the artists share their joy in fostering outdoor exploration and an appreciation for nature.
