These llamas are riding in style. In this season 5 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 502), Richard is in West Cornwall, Connecticut to meet Debbie Labbe, owner of the Country Quilt Llama Farm. What started as a breeding operation has transformed into a series of educational and therapeutic programs. In this segment, Richard tours the farm and helps Debbie feed the llamas, learning more about the farm’s origin and mission. Then, he partakes in one of the farm’s most popular activities, the llama walks. After Debbie loads her llamas into the minivan (inviting some interesting looks on the freeway), Richard gets to experience just how therapeutic a llama walk can be. Just remember, no llamas off leash!
